COVID-19 Visitor Update

Visiting hours will be as follows:

12:00pm to 8:00pm - daily
 

Visitors should NOT visit if they are unwell, have any flu like symptoms, or if they have been advised by the Department of Health to isolate.

The safety of our patients, staff and visitors remains our highest priority and we maintain strict safety protocols on site, including physical distancing and hand hygiene.

Please be patient and pleasant with our staff as we support the ongoing need to balancing safety and contact between our patients with their families.

There is free on-site and street parking available in and around Dorset Rehabilitation Centre.

Bus: Bus 527 runs from Gowrie Station to Northland Shopping Centre and stops outside the hospital. Coburg and Gowrie Stations on the Upfield Line are about 5km away. Take bus 527 from the station to the Hospital.

Train: Pascoe Vale Station on the Broadmeadows Line is about 5km away but there is no connecting bus or tram to the Hospital from this line.

Taxi: Reception is also able to book or call a taxi for you if required.

Dorset Rehabilitation Centre is located in the heart of Pascoe Vale. Address: 146 Derby St Pascoe Vale Vic 3044. Ph: 8371 9477.

We are located on the corner of Derby Street and Dorset Road, which is north of Bell Street and south of Boundary Road (Melway Map 17 D7).

A pharmacy, supermarket, specialty shops and cafés are located across the road from the hospital.

The nearest shopping centre is located at the corner of Derby Street and Bell Street, approximately 2km away.

Alcohol Policy

Visitors or patients are not permitted to bring alcohol into the hospital.

Dorset Rehabilitation Centre is a smoke free hospital which means that smoking is not permitted in any building or outdoor area within the boundaries of the hospital and there are no areas designated for smoking.

Dorset Rehabilitation Centre is committed to providing a safe, healthy environment for patients, visitors, doctors and staff.

It is expected that all patients, visitors, staff, contractors and tenants respect and comply with Dorset Rehabilitation Centre’s smoke free policy by not smoking whilst on the premises.
